Awesome! KBLM is in my backyard. I grew up there. We used to sled there and drag race on the back runway... (which was built to land Air Force One in times need)
Ed Brown was a great man, and his efforts were akin to Walt Disney in regards to buying up land and converting it.
We used to play at “Ed Brown’s Playground” until the faggot township of Wall shut it down. I can say that because I grew up in Wall and they are indeed faggots.
Edit: there are a lot of businesses that rent there and the new owners are pushing them out. We lost our drop zone a few years ago. I used to skydive there regularly. When I say the word “faggot”, I mean it. The current owners are faggots.
That’s crazy! I used to live in Howell and I would take my kids there to sled on the hill by the runway. Ed browns house was on the hill overlooking the runway! I think he has a piper Malibu mirage and occasionally would catch him taking off or landing. Lots of history to that airport. Spent many great days there with my kids.
If you take a drive up RT 35 into Belmar, they build a new playground by the water before the marina (closer to Belmar Blvd south of the “rat beach”...
They named it “Ed Browns Playground”!! I’d love to know the story behind it.

Near headliner?
South of Headliner. Basically on the other side of the marina.
