Kind of retarded to act like you are so much better for not wearing a mask.

Masks are supposed to prevent fluids to spread in which the virus can accumulate.

Coughing, sneezing can obviously release all kinds of fluids and spread like crazy that way.

A mask wont keep "you" healthy but it can keep others healthy if you have the virus or a flu etc. so if everyone wears masks in more crowded areas then it will help prevent new infections.

"In more crowded areas" is the key. We've got people being ticketed when they're so far apart from anyone that a mask does nothing but promotes health risk to the wearer.
