I didn't agree with his social policies, gun control, abortion, stuff like that, but when it came to economics, he was spot on and ahead of his time. He was spot on about NAFTA and the outsourcing of jobs but people just laughed him off. The way I figured at the time, he was running against Clinton, so his liberal social policies were the lesser of two evils.
