I can't say I'm even a little surprised.
Attention DDOS'ing assholes: You know what they say about cutting out a man's tongue? If you're not worried about a second Trump win, seems kind of strange to spend a Saturday night doing this.
Absolutely.
But I suppose the difference is: Even if you're not concerned about him losing, why not have some fun supporting your preferred candidate?
I suspect it's likely in the same vein as people still enjoying, for instance, supporting their favorite sports team -- even when they're already confident in the end result, good or bad.
Tearing down others is what I don't really understand. I don't go around to Biden communities -- if they exist in any serious capacity -- and mock them just because I'd rather he not win. I didn't mock people in Bernie's communities. AOC. Yang. Clinton.
But, hey: to each their own.
