Here's a link to Japan's official COVID status web page:

https://toyokeizai.net/sp/visual/tko/covid19/en

Current fatality count is 952 - which compared to the US fatality count of ~ 100,000, that definitely means something fishy is going on

US has population of around 320 to 330 million, whereas Japan about 120 million - all in a rather small island nation. So Japan is densely populated.

So what does the US have such a high Wuhan virus death count relative to Japan?

Most deaths are among the elderly and lots of the elderly are concentrated in assisted care places - which those got targeted by certain Democrat governors for sending COVID patients to. They signed EOs to force nursing homes to take COVID patients - in defiance of federal guidelines that spelled out that nursing homes should only be used to offload COVID patients if is a facility protocol equipped to handle highly contagion patients (few to none are).

Based on Japan, the US fatality rate should be less than 3000 - Japan is probably pervasively using HCQ to treat COVID patients, and hence the very low fatality rate

hold up, their Case Fatality Rate from your link is about 5.4% and USA is about 5.3% using the John Hopkins site. So there's no discrepancy in the CFR. Are you talking about the confirmed cases being discrepant?

if you are still using the confirmed case/death rate at 5% then you obviously have been willfully ignoring the multiple studies that have shown that cases are underrepresented by like what a factor of 50 or something...these studies have proven that a huge portion of the population have been 'infected' and just do not know it because they are asymptomatic, easily 15-25% of the entire population or something like that... until every single person in the US is tested and even that won't be accurate because they'd have to test for antibodies, that actual % can not be known; the death count is the most important and if you can't see the difference between 1k and 100k then you are bursting from the ears with the leftist kool-aid
