Same happened to me with my leftist gf. I said I was looking at child pornography of boys. She smiled and said I "must be struggling to express my identity as a gay man" and that all was forgiven. Phew, that was close. She almost found out I wanted to move manufacturing from China to the heartlands of the USA, it could have been ugly.
