I live in Hollywood - it's crazed Karen central around here, so I put one on when I go outside, but pull it under my chin. They won't let you into stores without wearing it properly, so I have to pull it up when I go in.
Same here, everyone in my building has become a "mask cop". Had some lady say she lost 5 FRIENDS to "covid" in the elevator to a guy who wasn't wearing a mask. Seriously people are deranged and giving power to these otherwise useless old white woman who are scared AF because of daddy Newsom makes me so goddamn sick. I hope this makes sense I'm still tipsy from the rally. 🇺🇲

Those bullshit orders are popping up in different parts of Texas now too. What the hell do they think they’re doing by throwing out mask orders this late into the game? No reason at all. They’re testing more and positive people are increasing the case rate but nothing else has changed! Even Trump said that tonight.
Contracting the virus in the summer would be better than waiting till fall. Besides, our hospitals are waiting to get more patients.
There is no cure. Everyone needs to go ahead and get it so we can move on. Masks just delay it...which is what the commies want.
Even if their is a cure - I'm not sure that I want it. I am sure I would rather take my chances with the virus than be a part of "the new normal."
Gov Newsome declared masks mandatory in public a few days ago. The official order is in public within 6 ft of someone you must wear a mask. All stores are requiring a mask to enter and it must be worn at all times or they will have security toss you out. I've been going mask free unless absolutely needing to go inside a private business. But yeah I couldn't name a grocery store that would allow me to be mask free anywhere in San Diego. And I get some dirty looks at the drive through.
And yes this is going backwards. We went from masks were a suggestion to masks are required or the police will ticket you up to $1000. Newsome stated this decision came because people were not social distancing enough... And by people I'm guessing that means rioters burning down the state. I've yet to see or hear police enforce the mask rule, but the stores are being absolute Nazis about it.
I'm still trying to figure out the part where I consented to wearing a mask? Furthermore, I'm kinda wondering why people can go out looting and rioting without much resistance, while law abiding citizens are forced to suffer the brunt of this bullshit?
