I fucking hate living here. I ride down to buy gas, get groceries. I get turned away from the store. Masks are now mandatory.
I can't spread your stupid fucking China virus to anyone, because I don't have your stupid fucking China virus. And your stupid fucking mask isn't going to prevent me from getting your stupid fucking China virus, because masks don't stop the fucking virus from getting into your system in the first place.

I’m in Northern CA. They tried pulling that shit on us a couple weeks ago. I called every health official and representative I could find to ask them exactly what I was supposed to do with a health condition that precludes mask and no doctor from whom to get a note. I also reported every bullshit business who was going full Nazi to ADA complaints board. I don’t know if I had any impact but there had to be lots of other people like me because now they ask at some stores (only Costco really) and I just say I’m medically exempt and they just wave me through. (I eventually—after some weeks—did get a med exemption but the one time I started to reach for it the door Karen freaked out and was like oh no no!! I don’t need to see any papers!! )
This gives me an idea. Something to look into at least. Would it be a HIPPA violation for a business to demand proof of a medical condition? If yes than anyone could claim they have a condition to not wear a mask. I'm not sure if that would work, but worth looking into.
Any lawyer or medical Pedes out there have thoughts? I'd love to know.
It absolutely is. But even more so a violation of the Americans with disability act. Don’t wear the mask. Just say “I’m exempt” with confidence.
