I have been following .win for a while now but I never made an account. Tonight I had to create a account in order to access the site. I'm just curious why the change. I'm sure there are alot of people who browse just like me but will no longer be able to unless they sign up.

Big DDOS tonight, so they upped security. At least thats what ive heard.
Ok, thanks for the info. I know we have steadily climbed in traffic ranking and figured if people were forced to join to access the site we would lose traffic.
Not to worry, this isnt the first time weve battened down the hatches and it wont be the last. Give it a bit and you can go back to full mega-lurk mode.
Ddos attack. There was also a physical attack (no reported casualties) outsidr the rally before they filled up. There is a concerted effort like never before
trolls, lots of trolls.
