It was an average rally. In other words, ten times as big as the biggest event Biden could pull. Yeah, coulda been better, I'm not gonna pretend I wouldn't have liked to see the whole stadium filled.

But it was an average rally after the date got moved last second, the democrats tried to get it forbidden by a court, the mayor of the city repeatedly tried to disrupt it and chased away the people waiting for it, and everybody attending had to wade through a mob of violent psychos to reach the venue.

And enough people were willing to brave all of that, in the middle of a pandemic we've been told to be terrified of for months, for Trump to have what is for him an about normal campaign event.

I'd say that's pretty good.

And liberals are trying to turn it into "we deliberately inflated your ticket numbers with mass fake requests, caused you to overplan by misleading you, and now will laugh at you for expecting a bigger crowd than you got because we lied".

If the opposite had happened, Trump had assumed the ticket numbers were fake, NOT counted on accommodating that many people, and so many HAD shown up, the media narrative would be "chaos at Trump rally! Campaign botches event!"

Keep in mind, we're just getting started. This was the first rally following a major pandemic and general chaos, plus it was rescheduled with short notice. The next ones will be better planned, and as people become more comfortable with going, there's no doubt in my mind that the rallies this year will dwarf those in the past.

How come they don't just sell tickets at $1 / pop?

Trump theoretically has the power of the Computer Crimes Act behind him, which is a pretty fucking broad piece of legislation. All the K-Pop teenager spammers on Twitter requesting tickets, go after them for felony crimes of fraud, throw them in prison, and destroy their lives. After a few hundred public cases of that, they'll stop.

Brad Parscale should have seen it coming. He is the campaign manager and digital guy.

Just imagine what the media outrage would have been if the actual opposite had happened, if it were a Biden rally and we all inflated the numbers and blocked the gates.

Anyone with two brain cells to rub together can see the bias.

If all the seats had been filled, the media would have pushed even harder on china virus fear mongering.
