I had to make an account here tonight. I lurkered on Reddit from almost the beginning. I lurked here at .win after they forced us out. I'm not the only one; there are thousands of us. We have to be careful about social media. We have to be careful about what we say in social settings. We have to be careful about what we say at work. But we're out here, biting our tongue everyday.
You pedes that do the leg work are the tip of the spear. You're the voice that we can't have. I got into it for a few posts with a fellow pede earlier tonight. Turned out I made some assumptions that were way wrong, I apologized, he forgave me and we both went over to the rally thread.

This is one of the best online communities I've found period. Almost everyone is very reasonable and to the point. There are exceptions, like anywhere, but compare the quality of conversation here to most forums and the difference is pretty clear.
I'm only 21 and I've been through all kinds of communities especially on reddit. I've been an active member of almost every single political subreddit there is and nothin even comes close to the love and family you will find on thedonald.
The difference about td is that they are willing to tell you what you have to hear even if its not what you want to hear. That's true love if I've ever seen it. They're not trying to get in your wallet or get in your pants or manipulate you for votes. To td pedes, love is love. These people get it ❤ they also got me reading my bible. I'll leave my thoughts on the existence of God out of this comment but man if that book isnt the best writing I've ever read then idk what good writing even is. I never was a big book reader and I was always a life long agnostic/athiest and many here on td are agnostics and atheists. I never opened a bible in the 20 years I was on this earth before I opened and read one and I was glad that a sub like this was able to get me into the mental space to actually read the bible for exactly what it is.
Love these people. Even if one day for some weird reason this place goes to shit it's still good to know theres actual genuine people out there just like me.
