I had to make an account here tonight. I lurkered on Reddit from almost the beginning. I lurked here at .win after they forced us out. I'm not the only one; there are thousands of us. We have to be careful about social media. We have to be careful about what we say in social settings. We have to be careful about what we say at work. But we're out here, biting our tongue everyday.

You pedes that do the leg work are the tip of the spear. You're the voice that we can't have. Know that the lurkers are behind you 100% and come November, we will flood the voting booths without ever saying a word. It's going to take every single one of us. If you love this country, you better vote.

God bless you all. God bless our President. God bless the USA.

Similar to OP. My reasoning:

  • I've been in plenty of online debates/arguments, they're never worth it.
  • I hate the politicization of everything, so I wanted to keep my political thoughts separate from hobbies, sports, etc. It seems like a significant portion of those on reddit are incapable of doing so.
  • I knew scripts existed that branded anyone that was even remotely considered pro-Trump. Once again, not worth it.

Votes count the same in November.
