I had to make an account here tonight. I lurkered on Reddit from almost the beginning. I lurked here at .win after they forced us out. I'm not the only one; there are thousands of us. We have to be careful about social media. We have to be careful about what we say in social settings. We have to be careful about what we say at work. But we're out here, biting our tongue everyday.

Very well written, I agree with most of what you wrote. Generational wealth is an area I need to do more research on - I really don't think it's a big issue for the vast majority of people, anecdotally, I don't know anybody who has benefited significantly from wealth being passed down from generation to generation.
Didn't Trump end the death tax on income passed on to family?
Wealth isn't just monetary. Having a family that has seen the mountain top does (typically) make it easier for the next person. Obviously individual achievement matters but there is an inherent advantage to having family that has "been there" backing you.
Which is why Trump's approach of going all in on economic growth works. If you just focus on creating opportunity, a lot of societies issues just go away because it is in our basic human nature to try and succeed.
Look into the Bush Cartel; not only dirty money passed down but dynastic tendencies for power. They have to destroy opponents: Reagan, Palin, Trump, of course they do it by stabbing in the back. PaPa Bush was a pedophile with the power to ply his trade as easy as the Obama branch ordering Pizza............wealth and power.
