I had to make an account here tonight. I lurkered on Reddit from almost the beginning. I lurked here at .win after they forced us out. I'm not the only one; there are thousands of us. We have to be careful about social media. We have to be careful about what we say in social settings. We have to be careful about what we say at work. But we're out here, biting our tongue everyday.
You pedes that do the leg work are the tip of the spear. You're the voice that we can't have. Know that the lurkers are behind you 100% and come November, we will flood the voting booths without ever saying a word. It's going to take every single one of us. Welcome! I lurked on reddit for a good 6 months before I started posting and commenting across multiple accounts over time.
I stayed on r/td until the moment I thought it would be best to come here. Once I came here, I never looked back. I wanted to make sure this place felt like home once the mass migration started. This place is even better now that we dont have the reddit overlords giving us all these impossible standards we had to comply too. Eventhough we did more than they wanted it stil wasn't enough. So proud of the mods for this place. They really pulled through. I dont know them or who they are in real life but theyll always have that little place in my heart
