I had to make an account here tonight. I lurkered on Reddit from almost the beginning. I lurked here at .win after they forced us out. I'm not the only one; there are thousands of us. We have to be careful about social media. We have to be careful about what we say in social settings. We have to be careful about what we say at work. But we're out here, biting our tongue everyday.
You pedes that do the leg work are the tip of the spear. You're the voice that we can't have. Know that the lurkers are behind you 100% and come November, we will flood the voting booths without ever saying a word. It's going to take every single one of us. I went from being a lurker on everything to occasionally up voting and posting. Nowadays this place is to me what a morning coffee is to most. I cannot wait to hit that upvote button and drop my thoughts on the conversations of the day.
This sub has the power to give even the most socially awkward losers the ability to actually learn that they are loved and appreciated and are worth way more than they probably think they're worth themselves. I was one of them 😂 as weird as that is to say.
