I had to make an account here tonight. I lurkered on Reddit from almost the beginning. I lurked here at .win after they forced us out. I'm not the only one; there are thousands of us. We have to be careful about social media. We have to be careful about what we say in social settings. We have to be careful about what we say at work. But we're out here, biting our tongue everyday.
You pedes that do the leg work are the tip of the spear. You're the voice that we can't have. Know that the lurkers are behind you 100% and come November, we will flood the voting booths without ever saying a word. It's going to take every single one of us. If i may; allow me to teach you to fish. Anyone can make a meme. Not all of them will be winners, but every now and again you'll hit the right nerve, at the right time and gain a sticky. Don't hesitate to post either. If you think of an idea; however silly, how ever relevant, post it because you may only have 5 people view it, but they all might save it and share it which makes it worth it.
The first step is using a meme generator and using premade popular templets and adding your own flavor in the form of text you want to express. https://imgflip.com/memegenerator This is the resource i use. Choose your templet, and check out the options. You can add more text bars, change the color of the text, and under advanced options you can move and resize the text boxes to your liking. This site is also very mobile friendly (which is why i use it.)
After you've posted a few popular meme templets you'll naturally start to want to create your own. I like to post a lose image search with words of an image I'm trying to find to fit the theme of the meme i want to crate. "Witch on a broomstick" for example if i wanted to find an imave to meme about nancy pelosi. After you find it, simply upload the image from your device and it'll become a meme templet and you can edit as described in the previous paragraph.
Some other things to note: you can add another image to your current image either side by side or top to bottom with the option above the templet you are working on. You can add images to overlay on your original templet to get really spicey.
Just remember; who care if they miss? Practise makes perfect. Just remember to stay relevant, and be as spicey as possible.
