Lot of fracking in Texas, S. Dakota, N. Dakota and shit ton's of other areas in the country... still waiting for the EQs in Texas. Also, you do realize they leave the water pumped in to push the oil out after they are done, right?

What does this mean? I know fracking causes earthquakes but I'm not well aware of what you're implying due to my ignorance of the subject.

There is oil in porous rock (shale). You pump water into the shale that pushes the oil up through the rock and yay oil! You have successfully replaced a lighter fluid with a more dense fluid (in respect) and now where and why is an earthquake going to happen because of this?

Answer: Politics, causation vs correlation, and Arab nations shitting there pants cause their profit margins went into the toilet.
