This is a local matter.

Unless on federal property, the fireworks and statues destroyed are a local matter.

Lots of these people cross state lines to buy fireworks, that's a federal crime I believe. Donald Trump wants to put people in jail for a year for burning the American flag. I think that toppling statues and setting off fireworks nonstop for weeks is deserving of jail time.

While it might be a federal crime, each state sets policy.

Let the states and/or local government handle this one. Don't like your neighbors setting off fireworks?

Call the police.

It may be the first step in an attempt to get rid of 4th of July. They are dropping all the history right? We can't be responsible with fireworks. People get hurt. So we have to ban them. Then it is that strategy of get rid of one piece at a time until it is completely gone. Too crackpot or....? haha

I saw a post the other day about it. I’ve been hearing/seeing them on random nights at random times. I’ve gone for my firearm twice already only to realize it’s fireworks
