Amazering (sic) to watch. Raz thinks that first responders should respond when he has done nothing to make their job easier, pay them any compensation and is excluding their protection. He thinks he should get first responder help for free out of the kindness of their hearts because CHAZ has a life at stake and "it could be your son".
First, Raz, it wouldn't be that first responders son because he's not going to raise a son stupid enough to be in your group.
Second, maybe Raz, you should have stayed in school, got a real education and became a first responder yourself. Imagine all the lives Raz, you could save if you knew the basics like EMTs do. It's associates degree program. You can go to school for two years at nights and walk out an EMT and never have to rely on first responders again. How about YOU learn to save live Raz...
Lastly, CHAZ/CHOP declared itself an autonomous zone. You're your own people now and as such the contracts first responders had with Seattle for that area are null and void. There's more to running a city, even a small town than platitudes, rhetoric and stupid lists of demands. As one extremely competent city council member told me in the best run small city in the USA, 50% of local government is the understanding that water runs downhill. Another 25% is making fair policies about land and water rights. The other 25% is gently telling numbskulls that don't understand point one and two, no, because they've never heard the word before.
