I just talked to a close relative who mentioned he and his wife applied for their firearm permit. My wife and I recently did the same. He mentioned that another relative couple also applied - none of us knew the others were doing the same. In his neighborhood, at least 5 other people just applied.
I realize this is anecdotal, but I believe gun sales will skyrocket, more people than ever embracing their 2A rights and gun safety courses and ranges will be full. People have watched the police stand by as communities have been destroyed, and we all realize that we're on our own.

Just a reminder... Our courts have consistently ruled that the police are not compelled to come to your aid. Everyone needs to understand this, the police are not required by Law to answer your call for help, we have always been on our own.

But more than that, you must be mentally prepared to use it, you MUST think through as many scenarios as possible so that if a moment ever comes you do not have to hesitate and ponder what to do.

Are you European? What is this "permit" you speak of? Do you mean a concealed weapons permit? And gun sales already HAVE skyrocketed, like TWICE this year. That's why I have to buy GOT DAMNED Russian ammo now.
You can get an idea of what sale are doing here, by looking at how much of an increase there's been over the last year's background checks. Keep in mind though, there's usually an increase every year, probably due more to 2A violating legislation than anything else. Nothing drives up gun sales the way democrats do. Just take a look at recent figures. They were at an all time high for the last recorded month. That was just as the riots were starting. New figures should be coming out really soon. I think I saw that about 40% of gun sales for may were first time gun buyers.
My gun shop usually sends out a monthly email about sales, or new shipments or whatever. They started sending out emails almost every day saying "we are out of the m&p 9mm" or "we currently ran out of 12 gauge ammo, more coming shortly". The emails now don't say what they ran out of. They say what they have in stock. They switched to "we are totally out of shotguns, we have 50 of this gun, 100 of this...... Plenty of 9mm ammo" and that's about it. Gun stores can't even come close to the demand right now. And that's in a gun free state like Massachusetts
