I’m amazed that whenever there’s any sort of controversial discussion on the Internet, there’s always some expert who shows up with a Masters or PhD on the subject. And the expect that by mentioning their supposed credentials alone will win the argument. BTW, I have a music degree, so if any of you want to talk about anything music related, I’ll chime in and I’m automatically right, everytime!
It's the lefty way. They rely on who says something, not what is said. For them it's all about credentials, which defines who the "experts" are, which in turn controls the correct position
Towards the end of my libtardedness I started pulling that card... never lied, but at the same time it wasn't actually relevant despite the person I argued with thinking it was
It's in the libturd playbook. Notice how dehumanizing they always end up being. They try to mask it for a while but in the end it's always evident they don't see you as a person.
I know you folks don't really like that "calling a fallacy" card... but this type of person will get absolutely shut down by it
I believe this one is called "argument from authority"... basically meaning that someone being considered a professional or certified in a field doesn't mean they're correct... but you can simply say "argument from authority" in the same way you'd say "not an argument" and they'll reee
I wonder if either of their history classes mentioned Ernst Thalmann, the German Communist Party leader that founded ANTIFA to destabilize the Weimer Republic by attacking all other parties, especially the moderate left, by calling anything that wasn't Stalinist communism "fascism"?
Imagine claiming to have a degree in Nazi studies but failing to see the obvious, screaming similarities between Nazis and the current Left; and instead being like "ackkktuuualllyyyyy Trump is a Nazi because The Wall."
The Left is using the exact same tactics the Moaist Red Guard used (they're even the same group of people - screeching college kids who fancy themselves activists) and that the Nazi Brown Shirts used. There is absolutely fuck all of a difference between them - they're even calling out people by race.
Also, weird obsession...a guy with some WWII relics would be called a Nazi fanatic and you have a whole masters degree in it and you're anti-Fascist...
"I have often thought to myself how it would have been if, when I served in the first world war, I and some young German had killed each other simultaneously and found ourselves together a moment after death. I cannot imagine that either of us would have felt any resentment or even any embarrassment. I think we might have laughed over it."
"I imagine somebody will say, "Well, if one is allowed to condemn the enemy's acts, and punish him, and kill him, what difference is left between Christian morality and the ordinary view?" All the difference in the world. Remember, we Christians think man lives for ever. Therefore, what really matters is those little marks or twists on the central, inside part of the soul which are going to turn it, in the long run, into a heavenly or a hellish creature. We may kill if necessary, but we must not hate and enjoy hating."
"We may punish if necessary, but we must not enjoy it. In other words, something inside us, the feeling of resentment, the feeling that wants to get one's own back, must be simply killed. I do not mean that anyone can decide this moment that he will never feel it any more. That is not how things happen. I mean that every time it bobs its head up, day after day, year after year, all our lives long, we must hit it on the head."

Just say, "I actually have 7 PhDs on this exact subject" and point out how there is equal proof of their education when they call B.S.
I have 1,619 doctorate degrees
I created all of history, and was there when it all happened, how can you know more than me now?
Found Jesus Christ and he’s on TD.win.

Appeal to authority is the logical fallacy of choice for those who lack critical thinking skills themselves
Let’s discuss Nickleback, the greatest band of all time.
What more needs to be said?
Kek
You'd be surprised at how often it works.
Towards the end of my libtardedness I started pulling that card... never lied, but at the same time it wasn't actually relevant despite the person I argued with thinking it was
Ive noticed that when theyre gonna lose they bust out with "darling" "precious" "honey" and "sweetie".

Blocking people's Given Right to peacefully assemble at a Trump Rally... LITERALLY NAZI.

Using a fallacy doesn't prove you are wrong, this is the part the left focuses on.
However, it does not remotely prove you are right, this is the part adults focus on.
It's a hollow arguing tactic, doesn't add anything to discussion.
The aptly named fallacy fallacy, yes i'm aware.
It isn't hollow, it's documented rhetoric. It often times can be misused or shallow... but what can't be?
I wonder if either of their history classes mentioned Ernst Thalmann, the German Communist Party leader that founded ANTIFA to destabilize the Weimer Republic by attacking all other parties, especially the moderate left, by calling anything that wasn't Stalinist communism "fascism"?
Spicy!
Clearly their “degree” doesn’t mean shit.
LITERAL NAZIS REEEEEEEE

Lol ok.
It can be fun to play their game against them.
So Trump is a German Socialist?
Her masters degree is probably in “everyone my professors didn’t like at the time is a nazi” rather than actual, “kill the Jews,” nazis.
