My wife left schools like this, where she went because she wanted to help. She was told white teachers couldn't discipline black students. They used 'restorative justice' which involved the principal saying to a kid who said he wanted to rape his teacher (to her face) "oh, you didn't really mean that, right bro?" then giving him dap. These schools are a fucking joke. It's the culture these kids grow up in. We've thrown billions into these neighborhoods, but it doesn't matter. It's skimmed by grifting non-profits, and even if it got to these schools/programs it doesn't fix the rancid culture these kids grow up in.
