I generally agree. The only thing that bothers me is the historical art that is being lost. These statues are being torn down and destroyed. I sort of feel like we, as citizens, owe it to our country and the deceased to protect those monuments and memories.
This is why I think Trump should call a national volunteer group of ex-veterans, cops, etc.. who stand guard to protect the monuments. Just need 1 or a camera, but they can alert a group of citizens who can respond locally if a landmark or monument is under attack.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but what bugs me more is the attitude of attacking our own verbally on here. People are complaining incessantly that we aren't doing anything. It's like we have been brigaded by loads of angry glowies lately wanting some low energy moron to run out there by himself, guns ablaze. That's going to go over great.
To those kinds of people, I agree, there should be some counter protest or a fund or something, but either bring real actionable solutions or keep the low energy bitching to yourself.
Want everyone to counter protest? Find one and bring our attention to it. Point us towards someone actually doing something.
