I can't trust any platform that pulls my cell number.

Knowing people that are not able to find work because of social media searches is disappointing.

Further, I can't believe that unscrupulous searchers are pulling "accidental" searchers of voter rolls, sorry for the extrapolation here, but if idiot states are going to back up data on overseas data farms and have oopsie, another data breach, it is fair game. And how do we know where our mortgage data is backed up. Ask a lender and they will only tell you that they have a data policy.

If it's on the internet, it's compromised. I don't think there's many ways around that for everyday business. It's doubtful that any regulation will pass to change that. We'll be counting on the word of the global corporations to keep us safe in this regard.

The bigger question here is are we beyond the point of fixing things with political solutions? While we could pull off having a great president, we have too many politicians to think that many of them won't be bought off.
