Yep. I nailed a lying troll to the wall over at PJ Media today about it and he lost it. Here are the facts:
There were around 12-14,000 or so there. And I proved it as shown in my post below:
-There are 20 sections in the lower bowl.
-There are an average of 20 rows per section (some rows have 18 or so and others have 22 or so so let's take the average.
-So lets say about 20 seats per row. Some have 30 seats per row and others have less, especially for a stage configuration.
20 rows x 20 seats = 400 seats per section x 20 section = 8000. And that is on the LOW side. If I were to physically count the number of seats per row and the number of rows per section it would be right around the 9000 for the lower bowl.
Remember, this is a 19,000 seat arena. Very large. If the lower bowl is filled (as it was) then it is at roughly half capacity right off the bat. Factor in the thousands outside that were not let in because of the low life friends and you have capacity.
A simple search of the BOK center will show you detailed
seating charts with not only the number of rows but also the number of
seats per row.
