I grew up in Montana, and Alberta is just like it for the most part, although even colder in the winter. Years ago when I was in college, I had a history professor who was from somewhere on eastern Canada coast, like Newfoundland or St John’s or the like, and this was during the big separatist push in Quebec. The Canadian provinces are similar in some respects to the states but they have even greater autonomy. I don’t think we would buy a province. It would be a matter of them deciding to join us or become independent. But if memory serves, the Canadian courts decided a province can’t succeed of its own volition (in relation to Quebec), so I’m not sure how it works now. Anyway, this professor claimed that many Canadians would like to join the states. I think it would be a wise move geopolitically, but there are so many cucks up there. Alberta would be the best option for cuck percentages. The least cuck/Canuck ratio👌🏻

Lets' welcome Alberta as the 51st state - definitely my favorite place in Canada

The War of 1812 is glossed over here :) But yeah. I personally am glad we are now freinds with Canadia!

Everything was flammable in those days.

A cow burned down Chicago.

.

Why buy what we can take?

It would probably be a low price.

Alberta leaves Canada, then joins USA, free.

Alberta threatens to leave the UN's "post-national state" of Canada, and Canada tries to get something for it and the USA gives them an island or two and some larger fishing zones.

A February poll by the Angus Reid Institute found that 50 per cent of Albertans would support secession from Canada.

Two for the price of one?

My internal dialog, “What does Mehnahmehnah have against PR??”

Brain shuffles memory files of every Puerto Rican known...beep boop beep

“Ohhh. Ok”

Possibly the most underrated comment I have ever seen in 34 years on the 'net.

All blues to Quebec. I would love to see how the Quebecois deal with the influx of unwashed blue hairs.

No to dis any USA bros. But Alberta and Saskatchewan joining together would be awesome. Maybe even taking a Territory or two. Alberta by itself gives the rest of Canada Billions of $ a year in equalization payments. They can make it on there own.

I wonder how Canadians living in Alberta would react to becoming Americans overnight.

Maybe we can annex Alberta and make it a state, but we would probably have to make Puerto Rico or Guam a state to placate the Democrats. Because that was always a rule of thumb (i.e. state creations usually come in pairs [Missouri and Main, Alaska & Hawaii])

I’d rather not have another blue state with two more blue senators and a bunch of blue congressmen.

I sure hope we get a whole lot more people who helped put Trudeau into power!

Oh, and, I'm sure that Canada has no desire for all of the resources...that's why they'll just let it go! But, we'd better hurry...Brer Rabbit sure hopes we don't buy it!
