...who had more funding than any Senate candidate in history in a year Democrats funneled a large portion of their ENTIRE NATIONWIDE FUNDRAISING APPARATUS to ONE candidate, who personally traveled to EVERY county in the entire state, was given EVERY piece of positive media coverage he could have asked for, and was up against a relatively unpopular incumbent in a year that the nation trended +7D...
...still lost by 2.5%
AND, in the SAME ELECTION YEAR that the Republican Governor - the other statewide race - won by a decisive 13.3%
So tell me, how does that indicate the state is on the verge of turning Blue to any rational person?
Unless the Democrats are going to routinely get D+7 years while having candidates that shake hands in every single county in the state while also funneling the massive majority of their nationwide fundraising to him while also giving him all the positive press a candidate could ever ask for while also having an unpopular opposition candidate from now on..?
...and STILL lose by 2.5%?
Texas may be trending Purple, but that doesn't really speak of it turning Blue. A 13% victory for the other statewide race doesn't really seem like a breath away from turning Blue to me.
While things can turn fast, especially with Democrats trying to win by hook or by crook, I believe they VASTLY overstate their position.
Exactly. The Dems are crushing Republicans in blue States. Republicans are barely squeaking by in red States. Increasing, it's looking like there is no political solution to what ails America.
Birthright citizenship, legal and illegal immigration have destroyed the demographic balance in America.
When you're being raped, does it really matter that you are being raped in accordance with the law? Because that is what Americans are being asked to abide right now. We are being told, "sure immigration is shifting the demographic balance in America, but it's legal immigration."
Are all Mexican people in that area that devoted to the Democrats? The ones in my area don't seem to be "party" affiliated.
They are religious and generally seem to be hard working people. I don't see them supporting the crazy destruction the left has been indulging in the past few weeks. They're probably as horrified as we are by the violence and looting.
Some of them are extremely admirable.
For example, there's this one man that I see bicycling to work every day -- no matter the weather -- sun, rain, sleet, or snow. I've never seen such determination to achieve the American Dream before. So maybe it won't always go Democratic if the Mexicans moving into Texas are anything like this man.
That you would even ask your initial question shows that you do not understand the importance of demographics. This is not about politics. This is about nationalism vs. Globalism. This is about culture. This is about the survival of a people.
But there have always been Mexican people in the United States. It has never been completely Caucasian. And there are many Mexican Trump supporters at the rallies.
You know how many minorities like to talk about how discrimination was so prevalent before the civil rights movement in the sixties? That is true enough, I suppose. But what they don't know -- and could not have known -- (being that races were largely segregated at the time) was that white people also discriminated against one another.
There was a time (and it wasn't really too much before the civil rights movement -- maybe ten to fifteen years) that different nationalities weren't that keen on hanging around with one another. That's why you will find, for example, four or five parishes built within walking distance of one another in the older parts of larger cities. Each nationality wanted it's own parish because they didn't want to associate with other nationalities.
Eventually, all these white nationalities came to accept one another. I could, for example -- eat lasagne in Little Italy, souvlaki in Greek Town, dine on Irish stew or English shepherd's pie -- and never give up my own ethnic love of pierogi.
Appreciating another culture didn't spoil my own. And it didn't make my ancestral nationality disappear. As luck would have it, I married a man from my same ethnic group I met in college.
I don't have a problem with legal immigration and I don't think all Mexicans are going to be Democrats. Besides I have faith in your ability to convert the ones that are into Trump supporters.
That's why Trump is building the wall and limiting legal immigration.. Realistically, there isn't enough room to take in everyone who wants to come here. But they have to come legally, adhere to our laws, and assimilate to our language.
Dude, we are so past that at this point. There needs to be zero unsponsored immigration into America at this point. If an American wants to go marry a foreigner, there isn't a lot we can do about that. But allowing people into our country, who are not being directly sponsored by a citizen, needs to end completely.
I met a Filipino guy living in Guam who was sponsoring his family to move into the US. This is a Filipino guy, not even living on mainland America, sponsoring more foreigners to come into America. I believe he had his citizenship at that point, but still. That is complete Insanity. That's how you lose your country right there.
What helped integration was civilization and not lawlessness. Mostly the people joined and contributed to the country. The problem is that the Left had put up a lot of roadblocks to black civilization by engaging in a program of victim promotion along racial lines and promoting anti-community and anti-family policies, and insisting on accepting "thug life" as authentic black culture.
Loads of other groups had their one culture to draw inspiration from. Blacks have their role models, but their popular heroes include and emphasize a lot of barbarians.
You hit the nail on the head. And any self- respecting Black person is immediately labeled an "Uncle Tom" -- so any positive role model gets negated.
Liberals are insane and exacerbate the matter. Did you see the fool on television who said that white children have no right to innocence because black children do not have innocence? Rather than saying -- what can be done to get black children this quality of innocence -- the idiot wants to choose to spoil what is working.
There is something really not quite right with the liberal mind. I genuinely think they are insane.
Keep telling yourself that we will win the election, you may even be right. But the left is running the streets in every major city. They've proven they can launch coast to coast sabotage on our business centers. When do we fight back?
Do you think it's realistic to think we'll be able to roll back 70 years of communist infiltration of every level of academia from pre-school to post doctorate, every single media organization, every single bureaucracy and government agency on every level from your local city hall to the Senate, all in 4 more years? If yes, please do explain how. If no, please explain what we're going to do in 2024 when Trump can't run again.
What is the long term 50+ year plan for retaking the entire country from the Left? Trump is a hell of a man and a hell of President. But he is just one man and just one President, with a countdown clock on how long he's allowed to do anything.
How will Trump winning get rid of the lesbian 4th grade teacher telling your kids that it's ok to cut their dicks off? How will 4 more years of Trump fix your local high school teachers teaching your 16 year olds that communism isn't that bad? How will 4 more years of Trump get the clerk who works at your local WIC office to stop helping illegals scam welfare benefits? How will 4 more years of Trump stop your city council from ruling against a conservative business owner who wants to build an extension to his shop because he's conservative? How will 4 more years of Trump keep your local assistant city prosecutor from recommending no charges against an Antifag who burns down the local VFW?
Sooner or later, even after Trump cleans up DC, you're going to have that "oh shit" moment when you realize that there are millions of leftists controlling every school your children go to, every music, movie, tv, and video game studio they spend more time listening to than they listen to you, controlling every petty little government office in every city with more than 1,000 residents all across the country. And we don't have jack shit of a plan for dealing with that.
People on the right have got to start thinking like people on the left. We need to fight the way that they fight. They use every available resource. They file lawsuits, they pass laws, they destroy people's lives and businesses. What do we do? We constantly take the high road. We are like the Romans, as the German hoards ravaged them.
Well...yeah, we do. But that doesn't mean people will want to follow it because that will mean everyone might have to give up some things they enjoy. I don't know that people are that selfless anymore.
You'd need to go back in time (figuratively). You've often heard I'm sure of campaigns to "turn off, and tune out" this or that music, movie, or television program because somebody thought the programming wasn't good for young people. So people would need to heed this advice and read a book, write a book, draw, paint, write poetry, do photography, make stained glass, handcraft furniture, go fishing, or a host of other things the deep state can't control because they are hands on and personal. Doing -- rather than viewing passively is the key.
As far as schooling goes --. Those presently attending could be rescued by executive order the moment Trump wins reelection -- all he'd need to do is sign an executive order prioritizing the STEM subjects and forbidding any political points of view being discussed until a student reaches college age. By that time they will have developed some discernment. The reason they don't exhibit it now is because they have already been brainwashed since Kindergarten.
Make universities have a balanced staff of varied political stances or no grant money.
And if the sport figures kneel to disrespect our flag -- you just don't go to see them. Instead organize a game of your own with your buddies. You'll probably have more fun too.
These are some examples but there is always something we can do if we put put our minds to the task.
Even if he was a “glowfag” which he isn’t, what is wrong about what he’s written? We’re in a full on Marxist revolution and where’s the GOP?
Static.
Every major and... hell minor city is tearing down statues of all sorts. They’re having daily “protests”. There’s been riot after riot. No one can speak out. Anywhere.
No one can speak out anywhere. Or you will have your life ruined. We’re living in a real life sci fi dystopian hell. And where is the right?
You are wrong. I realize that your heart is in the right place, but you are wrong about me.
I've been switched onto this political game for a very very long time. I am old, I am experienced, I have spent years in real wars, we are losing this war. Be butthurt all you want
Actually, I think there are bigger issues than leftist mayors and planned riots. Media Bias and Censorship needs to be broken. Without the ability to speak truths and share reasoned opinions, if scientific truths are burried and manipulated, if political discussion is twisted and one-sided, it is difficult to proceed. We too easily become puppets of the Narrative. The barrage is nonstop. And the other side is never held accountable.
In addition, Big Business, whether it be Big Tech or Big Banks, continues to expand and dominate. In ways we don’t even know. They have become the main arm of the Surveillance State, Cancel Culture, Progressivism and Historical Rewriting. This power transcends and infiltrates Government.
Yes, we have to win at the ballot box. And we need to keep the ballot box safe from fraud. And we need to take back our cities. But I see the war being lost outside government, insidiously managed by six media companies, a handful of huge tech companies, and the financial elite. The problem is way bigger than a few authoritarian mayors and blue state governors...
Agreed. We lost our culture, and we lost our demographic supermajority. We are very very close to losing our country. It does not matter who wins the next presidency, if that is all we do. We have to get crazy with border control, deportations, visa restrictions.
We have to stop censorship, media manipulation, break up media consolidation, break up big tech, fight the surveillance state, continue to empower individuals economically and culturally...
And we need to persuade the black and Hispanic communities that Conservativism and America First and Trump’s agenda is their best option to procure a better future for themselves and their children. Long term.
The black conservative movement is slowly building. It’s actually a hopeful sign. If censorship weren’t so prevalent, it might grow faster. If Big Media weren’t as powerful as we let it be, black conservatives would be a voice at the table instead of forcefully marginalized. We need to continue to support and embrace black conservatives, Blexit, etc. Relying on deportation and demographic controls is insufficient. Yes, our borders need a wall and immigration needs fixing. But black and brown conservatives need to be viewed as thought leaders and truth tellers, bringers of hope and answers, and our allies in MAGA.
Yep, if there's one thing I've learned over the past few months, it's that "might makes right" is well and good, even here in America.
The complete spineless response to the looting and rioting is an appalling shame and underscores just how fubar our country truly is.
We can sit back and talk about laws and civility all we like, but it seems the unfortunate reality is that OUR OWN GOV'T will do absolutely nothing to protect the lives and liberties of the common man until its own well-being is also called into jeopardy.
"What's that? A local mom and pop being beaten in the streets and having their livelihood destroyed? Ahh, sorry about that bucko. You'll just have to fend for yourself during these crazy times. Besides, this is EXCELLENT optics for us on how bad Democrat policies are!"
What the eff??
Politics be damned, there are citizens of this country with their lives in immediate danger and our armed forces just sit back and watch?
Sorry fam, but IMO the MAGA movement can wait until it has shown it will stand up and defend our most basic of human rights in this country. Trump and his admin needs to step up to the plate and get it done.
Because I guaran-fuckin-tee you that if some thugs stormed Pelosi's home, destroyed her precious refrigerators, and ransacked her belongings, there would DEFINITELY be swift and just action.
I am so glad you just said all that. That is the thing that people on the right do not seem to understand. Might makes right.
We have all the might, and we do nothing with it. we sit around and virtue signal about how many minority friends we have. Meanwhile the left is beating the ever-living hell out of people in the streets.
And what surprises me is that so many were so quick to jump on the hate bandwagon against do-nothing RHINO's (rightly so!) and yet those very same people do not see that that very same do-nothing attitude is still very much present today.
I love Trump, but IMO this should be a stark "do not cross the red line" issue. And yet, here we are. The left has trampled over the line and is now dancing with impunity on the other side.
For how long? What more will it take for our supposed MAGA LION party to say, "Enough is enough!" and protect our dear country?
Evidently we will never stand up and fight back. Because every red line has been crossed. As the right continues to retreat and retreat and retreat into the interior of the country, the left just continues to take one area after another. And immigrants continue to pour into America and further dilute our culture.
The whole premise of democracy and a free-ish market economy is that participants are protected from mayhem. They're allowed to go about their lives and pursue their goals and dreams and livelihoods free from threats to their safety, etc thanks to the strong arm of an otherwise hands-off gov't.
But now? After this?
The curtain has been pulled back and we see our supposed representatives are nothing more than a pack of $50,000 fridge Pelosi's chewing on bowlfuls of icecream paid for by OUR blood, sweat, and tears. That any real change must come about by our own doing.
But how? I thought I lived in America precisely so I would NOT have to take to the streets in her defense. That its leaders would have the courage and fortitude to do it for me and those I love because that's precisely what they've been tasked to uphold and represent.
"Make America Great!" "Keep America Great!"
Really? Does no one else see how fragile and completely vulnerable our nation actually is when our gov't is full of cowards? Of people who do nothing but play career politics?
Don't get me wrong, I love Trump! But I have a really hard time reconciling the two because I fully understand that the problems that beset our nation and their solutions extend FAR beyond a (hopefully) two-term presidency.
We need to be first and foremost great defenders of this nation. Not merely of this or that President.
Thanks for listening, fren, sorry for the rambling! It's just tough to witness!
You are very right. It has been revealed to be a sham. We are now inundated with people who are simply trying to take all they can, and give nothing in return.
When people finally realize conservatism is a failure, we might have a chance. Multiculturalism is suicide, and cuckservatives are always playing defense. They never push back to regain lost ground to the left, and are too busy circle jerking when they have a minor victory to keep moving forward. Meanwhile the left regroups and attacks again. America is already doomed, at this point it's how much of it can be salvaged. The west has already been reconquered by Mexico.
So right. The Republican party and conservatism are abject failures. Conservatism and the Republican party can better be described as an organization whose beliefs are about 20 years behind the liberals. That's it, that's what they stand for.
And that's why ethno-nationalism has to be a component of American nationalism. A component, not the whole thing.
Only ~10% of the population truly understood that we were losing our country before 2015. We were all 'fringe conspiracy theorists' or 'that one guy who won't stop talking about the Bilderburg group.'
I would say most of us were heavily black pilled that there wasn't a damn thing to be done to stop it. Civil war was inevitable, and would be over swiftly with the full might of the US military putting down whoever dared to stand against the death of America.
And then Trump happened. A bonifide gift from God to a country that still has a few faithful left to save.
And now, half the damn country is awake.
Things may be even worse than we realized. The cancer in our society is deep and near terminal. The first few exploratory chemo treatments have caused convulsions and the country feels awful and hungover.
But things are always darkest before the dawn. The Storm is terrifying, and seems without end until that first ray of sunshine. It's going to be rough, it's going to be painful. Windows will be broken, lives and livelihoods will be lost. But we can WIN. We will WIN. And we will rebuild what the storm has broken.
<looks at rioters burning and pillaging cities while the gov't continues to largely do nothing>
Umm... Is this really what having half of the country "awake" really looks like?
I may be wrong, but the problem seems to be that the right's belief in a more hands-off gov't was always undergirded by the implicit understanding that the gov't exists to provide for the most basic assurances (military, police, fire, etc).
And yet, with recent events, we've come to understand that the gov't will NOT uphold even these.
So where does that leave us?
Keep being "awake"? OH NO! I'm sure Pelosi is quaking in her boots, not that!!!
Trying to be hopeful here, but at the same time, I'm trying to also be realistic and hold an objective view of the situation.
You look at pictures of ultra liberal cities and think that equates to the entire country? I did say half, right? As in 1 out of 2, as in the red states and districts where this shit is NOT happening. As in the people who voted for Trump, and not the ones who rioted when he won.
People are absolutely fed up with this shit, but none of those people live in downtown Potland. None of those people voted for the mayor of Potland. None of those people are anywhere near where these pictures are coming from. This isn't a 'war' when one side is filming themselves raging inside their own camp.
The war that's been raging for decades, and those red districts, those red states didn't even realize it was happening. The only thing we are losing is morale, because people are falling for the propaganda attack. We are not losing any ground that hadn't already been ceded. This is just a massive propaganda machine designed to galvanize BOTH sides.
The lines were drawn a long time ago, people are just realizing it for the first time and think they are losing the half of America which already fell to communism a long time ago.
u/Isolated_Patriot, I'm sorry I was rude and condescending. That's not the tone I mean to set. Got carried away with other stuff I was reading/participating in and that's my fault. My apologies!
If I'm reading you correctly, it sounds like your main point is that we need to keep things in context and realize that any "footholds" it may seem like the commies are gaining are largely overblown. And that, contrary to how it may sometimes seem, that the MAGA movement is still alive and well.
Am I close?
You're right that the ultra-violent stuff seems to have been fairly contained to places like Seattle, St Louis, etc.
I have a cousin out in Oklahoma that said the rally went okay, but that the reports of BLM/Antifa types blocking the entry ways did in fact take place and that the security just pretty much threw up their hands and said, "Oh well..."
And I think that's the part that bothers me. It's that very same kind of apathy and deference that allows the larger riots to take place.
Yes, any footholds they are gaining, were already theirs. They had Potland before I was even born, and they were rioting in the streets in 2016. Nothing has actually changed.
The rally was bullshit, and I am pretty pissed about that too. If we lost any battle recently, it was allowing those gates to be blocked. 100%. But it was clearly planned and massive coordination from the left. It was a big, huge moment for them, that took everything they could muster. But it was a pretty small loss compared to what it took them to get it.
Demographics are another issue. Once Texas is blue, what will the Republican path to victory be?
Exactly. Texas is going blue. More specifically, Texas is going Mexican.
Sort of, but also no.
Texas is still R+10%. People just don't realize it because the media's lied to them.
Cruz beat Beto to the Senate by 2.5%. That is incredibly close for Texas to almost send a gun grabber to the Senate
Yes, Beto...
...who had more funding than any Senate candidate in history in a year Democrats funneled a large portion of their ENTIRE NATIONWIDE FUNDRAISING APPARATUS to ONE candidate, who personally traveled to EVERY county in the entire state, was given EVERY piece of positive media coverage he could have asked for, and was up against a relatively unpopular incumbent in a year that the nation trended +7D...

Long term.
Your first paragraph is right. Your second paragraph is correct but wrong.
But us widdle commoners? Fuck-us right?
I am so glad you just said all that. That is the thing that people on the right do not seem to understand. Might makes right.
We have all the might, and we do nothing with it. we sit around and virtue signal about how many minority friends we have. Meanwhile the left is beating the ever-living hell out of people in the streets.
Yep!
Sadly so...
Mind if I ask where your username comes from?
It's the same one I had on Reddit. Its original origin is cloaked in mystery.
Poor analogy- the red man used to make wampum; the Left produces nothing of value
Well said u/Flptplt and u/Butcher_bear!
Sadly, you may be right.
But what does this mean other than...you know, the igloo?
Your concern is noted lol
I don't expect them to get away with it twice.
That's a good way to see it, thanks for elaborating!
I'll toast to that! Have a good day!
