I can understand the skin in the game approach. That makes a lot of sense. However, they would have done better having Romney move as a Dem to run against Trump. He has skin in the game but I think the radicals would go bonkers and run a 3rd party candidate.

Not such a bad idea, but if Biden had kept his wits I think they would be in a better position than with Romney.

It worked with Trump because everyone loved him. Dems and Republicans alike, nobody hated Trump before he announced his presidency, he was literally "An American Icon." Romney however, is a snake and nobody likes him. The left hated him up until he showed the colors of his turncoat hide. They can't cover that up and run the guy who ran against Obama as the successor for the dem party. They need the guy that reminds their base of the Obama years, not the guy that (on paper) stands for everything they hate. Religion, family, oil, and the GOP.

We know he doesn't actually stand for those things at all, but you can't take that image away completely.

I thought it was really interesting how Netflix released a Documentary of Romney that was very favorable and not controversial. After watching it, I knew Romney was another puppet. This was back before I swallowed the Red Pill. I think Romney and the right VP would play much better than Biden. It's interesting. He is certainly controlled opposition.

They want Romney to steal the primary in 2024. He'll come out with some speech about 'restoring the dignity of the Republican Party' and Lindsey Graham will stand and applaud. Libs will flood the gop primaries to keep whatever candidate Trump endorsed from getting the nom, and Mike Obama will run unopposed for the dems.
