the drive thru line normally spills out onto the road making it difficult to pass and i was dreading having to navigate that part of my trip ... well, imagine my surprise when there was no back up at all and only five cars were in their drive thru lane
It was 50/50 for me. I love their food, I loved that it was a Christian owned Company (once upon a time.) Now they literally take the Lord's name, but it is in Vain.
Totally agree, I always thought CFA was over-hyped, but it was decent chicken and the company stood for good values. Now I have no reason to go there when I can go to Wendy's and get the best fast food chicken sandwich: the spicy asiago club.
When you think about it, it's really stupid that the thing CFA is most famous, not for their sandwiches, but serving as a proxy war between conservatives and the alphabet brigade.
I'm having to look for a new church, pastor took a knee last Sunday and gave the same sermon about white people should be ashamed. Well I'm not, if anything these Visigoths should be ashamed of themselves. Good men died freeing them. Way back 3/4 of my family was wiped out in the civil war. The three oldest boys were conscripted straight off the boat from Ireland to fight in a war that wasn't theirs to correct a sin that wasn't of their making. Two were killed in battle, one survived but never recovered and died within a year. The youngest was left alone at 11, thankfully too small to lie about his age and stay with his brothers. My family has more than paid our dues.
Some additional context, my wife was until very very recently a cop, read into that what you will. She ran the churches security, and stood guard over us while we worshipped. When madmen were storming churches she stood tall and volunteered to put herself in their way.
You better believe that I didn't sit there for the whole thing. I got myself and my children the hell up out of there. A good shepard doesn't turn his flock over to the wolves just because he thinks the wolves got a raw deal.
I thank God that this happened though, how much longer would I not have been able to see the true nature of that worm? As to raising hell and telling him and everyone exactly where he can go, well that's the sort of thing you save for people that you have some kind of feeling about. I have none. He severed the ties that bind...I have nothing for him. The devil take him for all I care.
