Why did people actually think that a million people would show up? I got the feeling leftist shills were pushing that idea just so they could make fun of it after.
I wasn't expecting tons of people. But then again doesn't help when you have rioters on in front of the building while the police stand and watch on.
Nobody really expected a million people to show up. Ticket requests have well exceeded capacity ever since 2015. Leftists don't understand this, however, and they thought that by "reserving" tickets they would actually be reserving seats that could not be taken by anyone else.
That's not how rallies work nor how they ever worked.
However, I'm sure a lot of supporters thought they would never have a chance of getting in and decided not to go. Plus BLM plus rona plus the logistical problems of screening, etc. They had to close the doors early because of safety issues.
