The end-around that local liberal politicians have done is go to judges to write orders and instead if fining people (as in the case of Gov. Abbot of Texas who said fuck that), they will fine businesses. And obviously, it puts businesses in a bind.
Again, if more people said fuck that and outright refused, the orders would go away. And don't try to hide behind some libertarian bullshit of people having choices- the choice is fucking stupid and ineffective.
I seriously had to go back to my house to get a fucking mask because the stores that were okay with no mask last week, have fucking signs everywhere telling you tgat masks are mandatory. They now have people checking at the door again.
Go buy an inhaler and keep it in your car. Throw it in your pocket before going into the store. When they say to wear a mask, tell them you have asthma and show em the inhaler.
Just like sales and Vat Taxes, Govt shifts their responsibility and burden onto Business making them the bad guy, Masks are no different.
The Respiratory issues exclusion negates any mandates because there is no way to check, nor enforcement. Not to mention it's treading on rights under the ADA.
I see stores complying with all the mandates but don't bat an eye when they see me maskless, others are obviously in a panic, come have told me I need a mask next time, and I respond I won't be coming back.

I don't understand why people are so butt hurt about wearing a mask. It's common sense that a barrier stopping incoming and outgoing microbes reduces spread. It's not about how tough and healthy you think you are it's about other people who aren't.
Asian countries do this because they live in close large groups and it works to reduce sickness. Crying about wearing a mask just makes you sound stupid and non compassionate towards elderly and sick people.
