All the violence was to get Trump to respond with the military. He called their bluff and now they are stuck with it, and normal Americans just want to go to sleep not worrying about their neighborhood being put to the torch.
Look how they blew their load when they moved "protesters" (you know the ones burning buildings and defacing property) so that GEOTUS could stand in front of the burnt church. That's the only time he's even remotely gotten involved in "controlling" the mob and the press was spring-loaded to call him a dictator.
If right now, today, a person is still a democrat, they are all in with violent communist revolutionaries. They can no longer even claim ignorance. So if democrats get near half the vote, then half the population are communist revolutionaries or willing useful idiots for the revolution.
I think you're right. I know it's just a personal anecdote, but my stepfather has stage IV TDS. He listens to CNN, has a "proud democrat" bumper sticker, and even he is considering voting republican this year. He is absolutely ashamed of his own party. I think if he of all people is coming around on this, just about anybody paying attention will.
I think the surge in 2A support alone as a result of all this will lead to a red wave. There is also the obvious point that virtually every single city seeing these riots are run by the democrats. Trump said in his rally that he is planning on just letting groups like CHAZ go about their business and destroy themselves, pointing a spotlight at them rather than a gun. All republicans have to say is "this is what our opposition looks like."
