We dropped off 30 boxes of cookies with a thank you card yesterday. I love my local PD. Perhaps those of you with a department you think poorly of should look at the local elected city officials.

A few months ago, all of our commisioners and our Sheriff signed a resolution that they would not follow the state order to enforce red flag laws, and made our county a "2A Sanctuary" city. If anyone tried to burn anything in our town, they would stop them regardless of what the governor tells them to do.
Lucky. My area sometimes seems to be in its mind and sometimes not. I'm pretty sure they had to have a vote to determine "whether or not to enforce unconstitutional gun laws" and of course they said they would I'm fairly certain.
How fucking incompetent you have to be to hold a vote to decide to do things unconstitutional. I honestly cannot wait for it to blow up in their faces and get sued. So easy to win cases where they literally know theyre following unconstitutional laws.

I've never met a city cop before actually. I do tend to disdain jobs where there's a union involved. I had a moment of hope when the protests started that maybe the "reforms" would be just getting rid of the PD unions....but, alas, we get burned citiies, Chaz warlords and demolished history.
