Ah yes rednecks who provide everything fundamental to their urban hubs, from food to natural resources.

These idiots think their fancy supermarkets, Macbooks and Starbucks coffee just pop out of thin air.

I understand, however when you consider how someone is provided a good or service, you need to look at the entire chain from front to back. Where the materials come from, where they are assembled or cooked, then distribution. Without 1 of those steps, there is no good to provide. This is just something not many people consider.

2
AnonByTheLake 2 points ago +2 / -0

You don’t get anything if someone doesn’t provide the transportation.

It's been working.... Seriously look at polls on black support for Trump. Several polls that are tracked and ranked at 80-90% accurate range have Trump in the high 20 to low 30% range

Even the leftist biased not that accurate poll of WaPo had him in mid teens last I looked.

Trump had 8% of the black vote in 2016. If even wapo is correct and he gets 15% that's double his support from blacks over 4 years. That's huge!

If it's somewhere in-between he will get 21% or so. Nearly 3 times the black support from 4 years ago. That is a blexit

While not really a fan of handouts, I think another round of direct payment stimulus is in order. Also, legalize marijuana through Executive Order. Liberals won’t stand a chance. It’s time to fight dirty.

25
bangbus 25 points ago +29 / -4

Dude, if he EOed MJ into legal status and exerted power to release MJ offenders from jail/pushed states to cleanse their criminal records old man Biden would be fucked.

16
eupraxia128 16 points ago +17 / -1

He should put legalizing weed and kicking DACA out of the country in the same EO. :)

It would really show illegal aliens exactly how unimportant to leftists compared with wacky tobaccy. :)

Opinion polling tells you what opinion you're supposed to believe, not the truth.

The easiest way for a black person to get rich in America is as a pundit for cuckservatives.

Edit: To those down voting I simply ask this: what have conservatives conserved? I'm not against you, I just recognize that even if we kneel the left will never accept us.

Although Nascar has been going down the shitter for the past two decades.

91
bangbus 91 points ago +91 / -0

It just ripped the band aid off. Maybe there really are 10 million purple hair gender fluid millennials waiting to go to NASCAR races and they just needed a kick in the ass to find them.

16
hai_Priesty 16 points ago +21 / -5

You know, racing cars could have been one of the most gender-equal sports if they didn't do all that nonsense.

Unlike muscle-only sports like basketball where a good national level high school teams with their 6 foot 6 boys will beat the USA woman national team any day, there are no hard limits to why the best woman driver can't drive better than man. But now they try their hardest to push normal people from them.

23
lanre 23 points ago +26 / -3

Sorry, but unfortunately racing a car is physically demanding. How many women have won a Formula 1 or NASCAR race despite it being open to them for decades?

12
hai_Priesty 12 points ago +16 / -4

I'm not saying that woman needs to even remotely be 50% of those racing champions to say "Equality". I'm saying that they "have a chance". It's like woman "having a chance" in the best forces in the army (or be a President in USA if she's good even though there isn't one so far), but I'm not surprised if they make up of <5% of the best.

In most other sports, woman sparring against man is a physical impossibility. If you let man and woman box together, you're endangering woman. In contrast, NASCAR competition being a "physical possibility" was what I meant.

Side point : When any rare woman manages to get near the top of NASCAR I wager she easily make more money than a "regular" champion with all her sponsorships and ads, making her endeavour worthwhile without any "equality" help.

9
lanre 9 points ago +9 / -0

For your side point, I'd say that is definitely true. Look at Danica Patrick.

5
eupraxia128 5 points ago +6 / -1

Formula 1 is probably 10 times more physically demanding on neck muscles than NASCAR.

3
SolidSnakeOil 3 points ago +3 / -0

In Formula 1, you need extremely strong legs too. They use a direct hydraulic braking system and I you can literally put the pedal to the metal, bad things are going to happen. Those guy may too small but they going through insane strength training but it's more similar to what fighter pilots do.

4
Warskullx 4 points ago +7 / -3

It is physically demanding, but it is demanding in a way women have a chance. It is an endurance sport.

13
bangbus 13 points ago +15 / -2

Driving a race car is incredibly physically demanding. Even with power steering it still favors someone with a strong neck, forearms and shoulders.

7
hai_Priesty 7 points ago +11 / -4

Acknowledged, but unlike American football (14 year old muscular boys can crush the bones of woman player from National Team in a slam) or Volleyball (Yeah right, your highest point of reach when you jump is 60cm less than guys), the Race Car is not a hard limit where it'd be impossible to beat a guy. Similar as archery.

If parents want to teach their girls true equality, "overcoming odds" like this should be a essential if racing is her dream.

2
fusreedah 2 points ago +2 / -0

If you need to be of a certain strength to make a certain turn then it seems like yes, there is a very hard and discrete limit.

6
SellTheSun 6 points ago +6 / -0

there are no hard limits to why the best woman driver can't drive better than man. But now they try their hardest to push normal people from them.

Women will never be able to compete with men in Nascar. The difference in competition between the TWO sexes is not just physical, Chess is the best example of this.

Look up the top ranked Chess players in the world, you need to scroll very far down before you see a females name. There are no "mens only" chess tournaments, women can enter every tournament that a man can. However there are "women only" tournaments that men are banned from.

Women can't even compete with men in board games at the top level, let alone nascar.

3
JudgeWhoAllowsStuff 3 points ago +5 / -2

Maybe NASCAR women have a chance (because honestly the g's in those turns are probably not extreme).

But there are other motor sports where neck strength is ridiculously important and it takes a lot of strength.

Drag racing seems to be a good match for women, looking at Ashley Force.

Shooting sports are probably the very best to give women a chance.

1
operator1214 1 point ago +1 / -0

Equestrian sports and shooting sports are the best. Women still have a physical disadvantage vs. men, but there is a mental aspect that puts them on a more even playing field. Especially equestrian sports (which are tough sports, the injuries can be catastrophic -- not for sissies). Women actually do better in those fields and compete with men. There's an extreme amount of body control and mental/emotional work that has to be learned, and women are very capable of competing against men because learning it is pretty much up to the individual. The trick is to not resort to trying to physically over-power, and women tend to have a better start as they don't need to unlearn that (although, in the last decade or so, I have seen problems with this: young women thinking they can ride very physically and aggressively...it ruins their talents and stunts their abilities). Yes, all my children shoot and ride; sometimes they do both at the same time! It's what we call "family fun time".

-1
NotInFormation -1 points ago +1 / -2

Indycar is probably the hardest with some brutal tracks and no power steering, and yet Legge and the not-top-tier Patrick managed to make a fair go of it.

Motorsports driver careers are full of money and BS so it’s not a true meritocracy but top talent draws resources to it.

I'm under the impression that conservatives are terrible boycotters but formidable when it comes to support spending in causes we believe in. Leftists are the exact opposite.

12
bangbus 12 points ago +12 / -0

No, liberals aren’t even the fucking customers of who they threaten to boycott. They’re just loud as shit on Twitter. Everyone needs to get rid of cable because the annuity these companies have from cable bills is their lifeblood and I’d wager conservatives outweigh liberals in cable subscriptions by like 5-1.

9

There are a lot of people who are apolitical who love country music though. Also a lot of bands managed to make the "migration" to a more pop-oriented audience by slightly altering their music. That's why, as someone who loves 90s country, I cant stand modern country music.

Ol #42 was the only good driver to go through that program and he’s probably permabanned now. He was the only one with top level talent and his parents weren’t rich. The drivers all being second or third generation NASCAR royalty or otherwise rich is a big reason the sport is taking a shit.

ASB_45 10 points ago +10 / -0

The thing about this is that due to the Kungflu, drivers aren't supposed to be in the garage area right now. Now thats not to say they couldn't get in if they wanted or maybe things change and I'm wrong. Second it was reported by a crew member. So where my issue with it all lies is, we have no evidence. No pictures, no video no anything, just someones words. Nascar Officials, Nascar Crew members, Fire/EMS and track workers are the only ones that are supposed to be in the garage. Of those 4 groups the only ones who aren't with Nascar every weekend are the track workers who are local. As someone who's been a life long Nascar fan this really pisses me off. Unless we have some cold hard evidence of what happened I don't buy it for a penny.

6

I hope another stock car league rises up at some point; a true stock car league. Real cars modified to race but not no phony chassis cars like Nascar does now. They dumped the real cars by the early 80's which was one of the dumbest things they did along with this stuff now.

They could go to small and big tracks and race every weekend from March through September/October they would be super huge and fun. They can appeal to the south and all red blooded people by being un-political and just race.. if only.

Too bad I don't have the money to invest in it :(.

0
GenderlessWookie 0 points ago +1 / -1

Just watch F1. The drivers actually have personality and the tracks are insane. They made all their races virtual this season.

The drama is real, full on conspiracies happen between teams.

No bullshit chase and you can root for a driver or a team to win, they have a point system for each.

wtf how are those contradictory values. I want limited government but I want daggum law and order

17
AgamemnonContingency 17 points ago +17 / -0

The government exists almost solely for the formation of a collective defense, originally what would become "police" and their equivalents was the mechanism, a core of trained professionals a new army could be formed around thanks to the 2nd amendment. At least that's what I got reading the federalist papers. We didn't even decide to fully create a real standing military until pirates were enslaving our ships, the only remnants was a mostly ceremonial/emergency 2 or 3 regiments.

12
RedSocks157 12 points ago +12 / -0

The government has limited duties and one of them is providing for the common defense, and enforcing the law.

9
Meatbank84 9 points ago +9 / -0

Yeah really mental gymnastics. Basic emergency services and police force are small government. When I say I want small government it means I want what’s necessary. Police is necessary. An inclusion and diversity committee is not. Nor is paying for tranny therapy sessions.

I bet if a handful of officers showed up and tried to enter, explained what they were there for, and didn't start the encounter with their guns out, they'd have gotten a different reaction.

Maybe if they'd done that, the protestors would have attacked them. I have no way of knowing, and I understand why the officers wouldn't want to risk it, but this really feels like a microcosm of the whole issue. A situation escalates, often by the police, and then the police refuse to do anything to de-escalate, resulting in a bad outcome for everyone.

This comment is pure cancer. 1st part is nonsense. Then he starts using logic and some common sense, then falls back on blaming the police for escalating when called to some fucking gangland gunfight.

Highlights mine.

Even Floyd escalated repeatedly and didn't cooperate, climbing out of the police car etc. The gaslighting is unbelievable. "POLICE are the ones that need to de-escalate"... Yeah ok give me a break. As usual the left accuses you of doing what they are guilty of.

Don't know for sure, but 220 races (including the lesser series) seems a bit much without a win.

BTP1 2 points ago +2 / -0

He only has 89 starts in the Cup series. He has 222 career starts in the top 3 national series with his highlights being 6 wins in the Truck series, but he was a development driver for the top team in NASCAR (Kyle Busch Motorsports, who is an affiliate of Joe Gibbs Racing) and thus had superior equipment for 5 of those wins.

https://www.racing-reference.info/driver/Bubba_Wallace

Also worth mentioning is that he was quite the hothead before this. He's also been diagonsed with bipolar disorder.

I mean it’s not great, but I wouldn’t say uncommon. He’s a C tier driver, but you know, the whole half black thing really puts him in a spotlight he’d never see otherwise.

Generally it takes guys several years to see sustained success unless they are really talented and have a great owner backing them with a great team. Usually the top 5-6 guys win all the races. You’ll see the older, more experienced guys up near the lead every weekend and guys like “bubba” congratulating themselves over a top 15 finish when Kevin Harvick pushed them for the last quarter of the race.

Not sure about 220 but it's not uncommon for someone to have not won a race even deep in their career. To be even racing on the NASCAR circuit requires you to be extremely skilled. It's pretty much only the same ten drivers winning every race with a few outliers anyways. Everyone else is garbage tier compared to them and are only useful to get owner points and manufacturer points.

As shitty a driver as Danica Patrick was. At least Willie T. Ribbs was a decent driver.

1
Slash78 1 point ago +2 / -1

Bill Lester woulda been a solid name in Nascar if someone decent had worked with him. He was fun as hell to watch in the Trucks; sadly he had shit rides when it mattered. He stuck with Bill Davis after he got caught messing with Toyota and when Dodge cut off their support and they were driving old cars. The paint scheme was badass though.

Danica waited too long to switch if she had done so in 2006 or 2007 I see her doing better. Once she took her clothes off and started modeling that became her #1 love she just raced for the money.

Fuck him, F1 has a black driver who not only wins races, but is world champion.

Hamilton has been pandering non-stop since this BLM stuff started. He's a huge hypocrite.

3
JackBurtonsTruck 3 points ago +3 / -0

Hamilton has chosen his black side (his mum is white as snow) and now wants to change the sport to make it look like a box of Smarties (one of every color).

And just to note, in the original photograph I used, this was during the National Anthem. Note the hand over the heart of the driver in the background. Bubba? Not so much...

We should pressure NASCAR into implementing affirmative action and give Bubba a 2 lap head start.

Look, you guys are missing what this is about. You motherfuckers need to read The Fountainhead.

Your favorite left turn sport is infiltrated. This is what they do. They infiltrate. Box car racing will never be the same.

The whole god damn NASCAR got behind this motherfucker. It does not matter if this is true or not. You are hoping for a Juicy moment. That is not going to happen.

Their goal is to infiltrate all influential institutions. If you try to save your favorite institution you will lose. We are closely connected with a great many types of institutions, one type is sports. NASCAR, NFL, NBA, these are all infiltrated, just like academia. You cannot clean the rot out of these organizations; by the time you see proof that the rot exists you are too late. Thank god these organizations only superficially control the sports they apparently represent. You do not need NASCAR to enjoy box car racing, the NFL is not synonymous with football.

NASCAR was in trouble years ago because the races were getting boring as fuck. Just like F1.

They did it because if you look behind closed doors sponsors are drying up or waiting till deadline days to sign up again.

I mean he's not in great equipment. He's always has been a bit of head case, but he's more deserving than some in the cup field cough Joey Gase.

I'm so tired of seeing this douchebag all the fucking time. He's not a bit talented; he can't drive unless on restrict-or plate tracks. He's a backmarker and shitty one at that. His own sponsor, QUIT, on him because he had a bitch fit and quit a I Race because he got spun out. His career was on fumes before this shit.. he's just using it to stay afloat. The paid people he had in the crowd today was cringey.

Such a shame Kyle Larson had to be a dumbass and say what he did on that stream.. it started all this shit.

2
codesherpa 2 points ago +2 / -0

Has he really not won a race in 220 straight attempts? How is he even a driver after losing so much. Maybe he's pulling a Kaepernick.

What do all these false flags/virtue signals have in common? They suck at their jobs and are begging to be relevant. See: Jussy Smolliet, This Car Dude, Capernick

Literally never heard of him before this shit and I used to watch NASCAR

it worked for Kaepernick. if you suck at the sport you play professionally just start getting woke and a bunch of absolute mouth breathing idiots will purchase your merchandise with NEETbux and their parents' credit card

2
Gadsden 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'll be completely stunned if he didn't put that noose in his garage, himself.

STUNNED.

Eh. Weak post. Probably a hoax but we don’t know. He may not even be in on it. I know nothing about this dude but this is low effort.

The new Kaepernick.

2
FrankWisner 2 points ago +2 / -0

You finished 14th? We definitely need to follow you to the start finish line immediately after the race is over.

3
cheesecakelove 3 points ago +3 / -0

Lol. I said the same. Only reason he even sniffed that spot is bc Harvick pushes him the last 40 laps. Notice he couldn’t even hold 3rd once Harvick let him go.

1
_soundwave_ 1 point ago +1 / -0

Now reading that the “noose” is likely a garage door pull-down and every garage has one... and has had one.

1
eupraxia128 1 point ago +1 / -0

I thought it was kind of cool when he started that there was a Black guy in NASCAR (again). But at this point I'm so fucking tired of all of the attention being on him.

That's what diversity does to organizations in real life, it distracts them from actual good job performance.

1
IlxTheGreat 1 point ago +1 / -0

Who pays someone to run 220 races and not win? "Gee George, Let me pet the rabbit". Shit, it's Richard Petty, USAF, and McDonalds. He's had 2, 2nd place finishes and 1, 3rd place in 2 years. Says he's only run 48 races in 5 years. and then when you look up the actual numbers, 220. man doesn't anyone know what the meaning of the word "is" is anymore. Bill Clinton, you really screwed America with that garbage.
