That's bad advice. Amazon donates a miniscule amount of your payment to the charity. You can find it yourself under your account. This is Amazon's way of making people think they are doing a good thing when in reality the donation is pennies. It's a scam.

I received an e-mail from Amazon the other day stating that as of 6/16/2020 AmazonSmile has donated a total of $86,161.66 to Judicial Watch, Inc.
