As someone potentially moving from CA, I agree. My main fear is moving somewhere the people I’m moving from will go and having them fuck up wherever I go to.

Then move to a place that Californians would hate: Mississippi, Arkansas, West Virginia, North Dakota, Maine.

The first thing they do is flounce around demanding enforcement of the same Leftist claptrap they fled from.

There are many reasons we Flyover State citizens despise those Carpetbagger dickheads. This is one of them.

Just talked to a lady last week here in CA who is moving this weekend with her husband, 2 adult kids and elderly mother to Arkansas. They are all conservatives and have lived here their entire lives. They sold their homes in two weeks, closed their successful business, bought a really nice place by the water for $230k and headed out. Also found out another long time (30 + years) local business owner closed his place and moved to South Dakota this last weekend. I went to his shop to pick up supplies and saw the note on the door. We are seeing this going on every week.

I'm also moving from CA. Part of my vetting process was to bounce potential locations off of my lefty coworkers. I picked the one they thought was the most horrific because I never want to see a California psycho leftist again.

Hopefully, they'll hate Arizona's 110+ degree summers, and stay out.

Come on down to South Carolina. We are pretty tired of yankees but I always welcome conservatives.

I'd say for next 10 years their federal vote counts for state they left

I'd say literally limit the right to vote to those born in the state.

You clearly don't understand the dynamics in seattle. Investment bankers live in conservative Bellevue and commute to Seattle. Outside of the I-5 corridor in king, peirce, and snohomish counties there are very few liberals. I suspect that the vote by mail scheme is largely responsible for the liberals that do win elections.

Serious question: Is Bellevue conservative? My home base was Kitsap County until I finished college and started working. I never had a feel for the politics in Bellevue. Is it really conservative or 50/50? I always thought Kitsap County was conservative but it votes blue all the time now.

yebbut, isn't there a huge population of progressives out there due to all the big tech/social media giant offices?

Also, how did Bellevue feel about having its mall destroyed by looters a few weeks ago?

That's a huge plus. I assumed that they were all leftists.

The company is moving, the employees likely aren't

It is hard to believe those who love the rainy Seattle can survive the heat in Phoenix.

6

Living in the rain makes you long for the sun. There's long been a trek route between the low desert and the Pacific NW. You can hop from AC to AC in Phoenix, but you can't escape the gloom in Seattle.

Yup. But it's dry heat LOL
