I’m guessing majority of the workforce won’t move with them and they’ll hire locally once they set up shop. On top of that, people in finance and applied economics do tend to be more socially liberal than your average conservative but are not nearly as socially liberal as your average progressive today. Not to mention these people are usually hardcore against Marxism and are pretty critical of welfare or socialism style policies - they’re literally in the business of understanding investing and trade. Of the employees that do choose to relocate, you’re basically going to see a small uptick in people that believe in classical liberalism/libertarians - and they will very likely vote red given that the left has abandoned classical liberalism for socialism.
