Ideology of the brain means that you consider your model of reality as the only correct model by definition.

Which means that when the model fails, you cannot correct it. Again: the model is already correct, by definition. And if the model is correct, the reason it failed is because it wasn't applied correctly.

The USSR wasn't real communism, which is why it failed. California wasn't the real bleeding heart nanny state, which is why it failed. Nazi Germany wasn't a real ethnostate, which is why it failed. Iran isn't a real theocracy, which is why it's failing.

And the answer is obviously to try the same thing, only harder.

It doesn't even matter what the ideology is. Just the fact that you are sick with ideology of the brain will inevitably lead to the same mind-rot, the same behavior and the same excuses.

This is a great explanation of trying to talk to leftists. When talking to some of the more reasonable ones, one of the patterns I've noticed is they will often not try logic, but instead a stream of "did you know..." The assumption is that their logic is sound, and that the only reason somebody would disagree with them is due to a lack of data. The possibility that somebody else could have access to the same dataset and draw different conclusions never occurs to them, because like you say their model of reality is correct by definition.

Reeducation camps were created for a reason.

Haha, you really shouldn't have been downvoted for this comment. Maybe re-phrase it, idk.

Deprogramiing is a thing, after all, and if we're honest that's exactly what people whose minds are indoctrinated with leftism need. Deprogramming.

I'm specifically not saying that this is the truth.

The above was pretty much an above quote I read in a discussion. The person claimed Nazi Germany failed because it wasn't pure enough and didn't do enough cleansing.

My point is that Nazi Germany was a always going to fail, even had they won the war in Europe, there is no end-game that leads to long-term growth, stability and prosperity for any state founded by and through ideology, whatever ideology that is.

Long term prosperity is the goal, and the only way to reach the goal is by searching for the best way forward at each moment in time in each specific situation, not by deciding the path in advance and following it through even if it leads off a cliff.

The only way of improving your chances of reaching the goal is to improve the decision making mechanisms, not deciding on something specific in advance.
