Wisdom. Now there's something to pray for in America. ... and judgement would be nice, too.

Its like Leftists refuse to use wisdom and judgement. Or they're told not to- using wisdom and judgement would be racist. How Clowny is that.

The man is a national treasure.

I read two of his books without having any idea what race he was. I was gobsmacked when I learned that he was black. He didn't take a single opportunity to use that to amplify his opinions; my respect for him soared.

I've always been a fan of good quotes but never read any of his books. Do you mind giving a noob like me some recommendations?

"The Vision of the Anointed" was the first book of his I read. It was a great introduction to the arrogance of the Establishment Left. But really anything of his is worth reading.

The far-left abandoned the "working class" years ago. It's really the only thing different from them and the far left in the early 20th century.

The moderate left and right was always the upper/middle class. Were now the far left is mainly what you would call the middle/upper class and has eaten up most if not all the moderate left.

The irony is these kids were put through uni because of the benefits of capitalism (parents being able to get good jobs) and now they are out on the streets hating on it.

Kids with iPhones complaining about the systems that are letting them freely be out on the streets. Because if America was an actual socialist country and they went on the streets they would have been run over by a tank weeks ago.

Classic liberalism is sane but what its morphed into isn't.

I've read it (and The Vision of the Anointed, and one other whose title I'm forgetting). They're all excellent.

The other nice thing, your children get older. As they get older, their opinions also move more towards the conservative. Who would have imagined? Oh, historically, everyone.

I know that my conservative Dad is happy that my views have grown closer to his as I've aged. Grandpa (who can remember when everyone understood that the Republicans were the racial-equality party and it was the Dems who were racists) too.

If you havent read Andrew Breitbart's book 'Righteous Indignation' I highly recommend it. There's a passage about his transition from left to right, and it's great

When I was in third grade, I argued with my classmates that women were more valuable than men in response to a question posed by our teacher.

At 14, I was nauseous when Carter beat Reagan. I've been conservative ever since.

I turned conservative in college when I realized that the established Left didn't care about my problems. Looks like you got in a few years ahead of me!

I'm partially blind and learned at a young age that I wasn't going to have the employment or social opportunities that someone who can get a driver's license takes for granted. I thought that other oppressed people would understand and that we would bond together... but that's not how things are. I was considered to be one of the privileged oppressors despite being shut out of so much. It turned me away from the Left pretty quick, and I saw just how hate-filled and hypocritical they are.
