It's sounding that way. There's a photo circulating of his garage with the door rope cut off and the adjacent door with the "noose" intact. Essentially Bubba Smollett has a retarded crew or he perpetrated a hoax.
If i recall correctly the adjacent door didn't have the handle intact, but it was much longer with kinks and bends in the rope implying it had been tied in some kind of knot for a while. Also there's a photo from 2019 of his bay door with the handle still intact and the rope much longer which shows that it was in fact cut, not untied

There is a video from Nascar doing a pit tour at Talladega and talking to drivers from a couple of years ago.
EVERY pit bay door has this rope and most of them have a small circular loop at the end of the pull down rope, some are just knots, some are untied, but you can count dozens of them with loops, many are tiny noose like loops.
The door of the driver in question, his rope is shown as being about 2 - 3 feet shorter than the rest, as in someone cut the noose off and placed it someone and then someone "found" it and turned it in for the racist narrative could be launch.
Smollet 2.0 got to get that lynching law passed somehow.

That "noose" is the rope used to close that roll-up garage door.
The crafty bastards tied it to the bottom of the overhead door, so when they opened it the "noose" would be hanging right there in from of them.. just hanging there, securely tied to the door.. they couldn't even pull it off, every time they yanked on it, it just pulled the door back down. How frustrating.

Looks like every bowline I’ve ever tied when I need to pull on the end of a rope. When you have a loose rope pig tail, you tie it in a knot above the bowline knot to prevent the bowline knot from coming loose. On nylon ropes you cut the final knot line real close and then melt the end enough to where it’s fused to the knot. It’s a good way to make a handhold at the end of a rope.

What a fucking retard. That's not a noose. I've tied nooses (I like knots) and although it's unclear from this low res photo I'd have to say that is simply a few hitches tied up in an attempt to keep a loop as a grab handle.
