How difficult would it be to start a "Save our Statues" organization. It seems the mob will always try to attack our history. Is it possible to keep them somewhere else without the faces being smashed in from being toppled? I don't think they should ever be taken down but it's clear the elected officials aren't worried if they're destroyed or not. I'd rather save them somewhere else than have them detroyed completely.
Oh I agree, it sounded like capitulation when I wrote it, but if the law won't be enforced and they are getting destroyed and put in dumpsters like 3 years ago, the least we can do is create a kickass garden style national monument to preserve them all in. I just realized I'm trying to meet halfway with terrorists - nvm, put a fence around the statues and light up whoever hops it!
