I actually like JJ. Not the best but solid.

They have a sandwich called THE PEPE, apparently, from the menu on their website.

BASED AND BREADPILLED

32
Crookedlamp 32 points ago +32 / -0

Holy hell... I'm in recovery now but that sandwich was a staple after a night out drinking!

16
FLIBS 16 points ago +16 / -0

Its good sober too I'm sure!

Crookedlamp 1 point ago +1 / -0

Lol you are correct!

I-am-but-an-egg 10 points ago +10 / -0

3
thisguy883 3 points ago +3 / -0

I once ordered a sandwich there and after i put my pin in for my card, my meal was ready for me. Literally no wait.

3
DoYouBelieveInMAGA 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yeah the people making the sandwiches have, in the past, been staring at me (in a non-weird way) listening and reacting as I ordered.

5
NormaJeanRocks 5 points ago +5 / -0

I get the Italian with all the works on it, really good and fresh tasting.

I was so thankful I don’t like the sprouts on sandwiches during that. I only like sprouts in soup or in PHO.

7
friendly_friends 7 points ago +7 / -0

I still like the beach club, but it lost soul with the removal of the sprouts

5
45squared 5 points ago +5 / -0

😂 I still like the beach, but is was better with sprouts.

3
DoYouBelieveInMAGA 3 points ago +3 / -0

Very easy to grow sprouts at home, FYI. I mean, super easy. I quit messing with it because I didn't know what to do with all the sprouts.

Weremoose 9 points ago +9 / -0

Italian nightclub with no mayo/no onion/add dijon. Then add my own sliced pepperoncinis - that's a great sandwich.

14
Meatbank84 14 points ago +14 / -0

NO ONION?

Well that does it BIGOT! Revolution time!

/storms outside lights a dumpster on fire, and takes down a random statue that has nothing to do with onions

8
pookiee68 8 points ago +8 / -0

He's an Onionist. Must be stopped from ever eating again. ONIONS MATTER!

7
Weremoose 7 points ago +7 / -0

I'm intolerant to onions

Reeeeeeeeee

You can always take that up with your bank. Consumers are pretty protected. They'd have refunded the entire thing and forced the business to dispute it. Just FYI, worked at a bank.

If the founder of Jimmy John's donated to Trump, but he's no longer with the company, then what's the benefit of buying Jimmy John's to show support for the donation?

14
V43_of_ii_dim 14 points ago +14 / -0

There isn’t one technically. The company was sold to Inspire Brands within the last year. However, a cursory look at Inspire’s social media shows NO kowtowing to BLM that I’ve seen, which is pretty remarkable for a company based out of Atlanta.

8
NoStepeDePepe 8 points ago +8 / -0

Inspire owns Arby's, Buffalo wild wings, and sonic as well

3
shintosurfer 3 points ago +4 / -1

Inspire seems to be a company doing it right. They are not getting sucked into the left's craziness, and focusing on doing good stuff or just promoting their brands. They seem to support the troops, firefighters, nurses, truckers, students, and people of all colors. If the founder of JJ donates to Trump he would have done his homework and made sure his brand wouldn't end up a liberal shit hole like Windy's.

2
DoYouBelieveInMAGA 2 points ago +2 / -0

Hopefully. But money talks. That said, I'll wait until I have a reason not to support them.

Also, Firehouse almost HAS to be based.

5
Weremoose 5 points ago +5 / -0

Because everything is politics. This shows that we're willing to back companies that aren't woke. Or at least are even tangentially related to un-wokeness

Try their square bread instead of the French loaf. They call it 7 grain or something. Totally different sandwich. Much tastier.

16
TaggartCiscontinenta 16 points ago +16 / -0

I noticed some of those kitschy signs in the stores had some based messages but thought maybe it was just because of the neighborhood/franchise I was in at the time.

19
4moreyears [S] 19 points ago +19 / -0

"Fresh Ingredients!"

"Your sandwich, your way!"

"Raise your damn kids!"

Jersey Mike's near me is always overrun with 300+ lb trashy people constructing soft-serve towers of Babel at the ice cream machine.

2

Jersey Mike's bread is garbage compared to JJ.

Yeah, not falling for that shit.

I expect to see old Jimmy on his knees in a few weeks sucking black cock. Be a smarter shopper. If they support Trump that's great. It should not affect how you spend your money.

I will begrudgingly eat a couple of their dry cold sandwiches between now and November to show my support. Maybe just go in for a drink? Lol

2
Aquamine-Amarine 2 points ago +2 / -0

Agreed, I only had them once and they weren't great.

8
moondoge 8 points ago +8 / -0

My first job ever while in college. They made you memorize the entire menu before even interviewing. JJ's made me learn merit and hard work. Had some great and hardworking Christiisn bosses that've become my lifelong friends.

7
Whenagain 7 points ago +7 / -0

So I can support a Trump-supporting business AND not be surrounded by communists while I eat? win-win.

5
KeyboardWarrior 5 points ago +5 / -0

Ohhhhhh boy!!!!! I will be eating there now!!!

5
NotInFormation 5 points ago +5 / -0

Is this going to be another in the line of 24h collapsing spines?

I’ll buy a bunch if they hold fast through the reeestorm.

3
KansasPede1234 3 points ago +3 / -0

I actually like their sandwiches. Decent size.

I also like the bread. Not too sweet. And i like the crispness of it alot.

Plus, you can get extra loaves for like a dollar and make sandwiches with them at home.

3
Right_of_Sinner 3 points ago +3 / -0

I ate there nearly every day before the pandemic. Glad my money and loyalty wasn’t wasted like SOME CHICKEN SHOP.

3
DemsHaveNoHomeHere 3 points ago +3 / -0

Very surprising, from their store's decor I'd had guessed them for commies. I'll happily support their biz any day.

1
Nightbringer33 1 point ago +1 / -0

Read the signs, the one in my town has ones with a lot of traditional values.

2
DemsHaveNoHomeHere 2 points ago +2 / -0

They must change from location. I live in a commie stronghold and wouldn't blame them for trying to blend in.

2
lavebug 2 points ago +2 / -0

I have been eating there for the past month when I work from office. #7 is my fav

2
mango20 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ah good. My enthusiasm for CFA has been slowly going ice cold since that whole incident last week. Nice to see there are some based companies still. (Apolitical is best for business of course but I’ll choose openly right over openly left any day)

2
Ru55ianb0t 2 points ago +2 / -0

Guess I’m taking my kids to JJ now. FU Chick Fil A.

2
EmondaBlue 2 points ago +2 / -0

I love their bread. I eat there about twice a month.

2

2
AlohaSnackbar 2 points ago +2 / -0

Damn, I actually don't care for Jimmy John's, there's just something "off" that I can't put a finger to. -BUT- I guess I'll have plenty of opportunities to figure it out, because it's JJ for fast food for me!

2
LaymanLeathers 2 points ago +2 / -0

Will do

2
TyrannyBuster 2 points ago +2 / -0

I eat JJ's at least once a week. Glad to know those funds aren't going to communists.

2
VetforTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

Today I eat Jimmy johns, since I wont eat chick a fil anymore

2
Nightbringer33 2 points ago +2 / -0

Read the signs in the store, I am not surprised by this.

2
Forte 2 points ago +2 / -0

Well that's convenient, I go there a lot because I can't eat bread and I can get anything as a unwich there

2
Bender4Prez 2 points ago +2 / -0

Country Club Unwich, no tomato, add Avocado and Bacon. BAMN Instant Keto dream.

2
Salacious_B_Trump 2 points ago +2 / -0

Don't care much about Jimmy John, but please don't tell me Jersey Mike is a huge cuck. That one would hurt.

2
Bearing51 2 points ago +2 / -0

Nice. Now I can feel better about eating a handful of decent sandwiches from them. I've ordered some in the last few days and didn't even know about this contribution.

2
Jikemenkins 2 points ago +2 / -0

Those hot peppers!

2
GeorgeBonanza 2 points ago +2 / -0

And they'll freak out and Jimmy Johns will issue some kind of apology, happens every fucking time, just watch.

2
Destineed369 2 points ago +2 / -0

Any pedes here know of a good list of trump friendly eateries and businesses?

Id love to support the businesses that support him. Wendys and Jimmy Johns so far.

1
silentsupporter 1 point ago +1 / -0

This cracks me up. My former workplace was massively liberal, but we ordered Jimmy Johns for lunch at least once a week. I wonder if they’ll quit now.

1
FergieJR 1 point ago +1 / -0

Not planned but today I bought my team lunch from JJs ha

1
Gunmolester 1 point ago +1 / -0

1
Dtxtb 1 point ago +1 / -0

How do these people donate above the personal threshold limit?

2
4moreyears [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

It would have to be bundled to the RNC or donated to a PAC I guess

2
Dtxtb 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thanks. Never understood how these people donated like 400k. Thanks. :)

1
4moreyears [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

You can essentially max out for each Republican on the ballot and donate the full sum to the RNC, in theory it would go to all of their candidates. The DNC got caught laundering $80 million back to Hillary in 2016, but of course nothing happened even though it was blatantly illegal.
