Gunna be honest. I got a 3d printer and have gone absolutely nuts. I dont get to use my massive armies of WH/WH40k unless I go to a shop to play, so I dont print those out anyways. Instead....D&D has become the new miniature beast. Also something my closer friends and family are more interested in.
I can print literally anything I want and play with it. The Ender 3 is a great printer IF you are meticulous about being perfect and precise during assembly. For a dude who builds/paints minis...shouldnt be an issue.
Ender 3 was my frist printer. It's awesome, great print quality for the price. However, it's been gathering dust since since I bought an Elegoo Mars. Mini's are much better that come out of that thing, and it takes like 30 seconds to set it up.
There's reams and reams of good games out there, far better than the Warhammer rulesets. However their design and quality is really unmatched, even if their pricing is utter bullshit.
This really does feel like the push I was looking for to move on to 3d printing.
What's your next move? I hear rumors of 3d printed, open miniature games.

I'm not into these kinds of games but I hear Warmachine is a good alternative from my friends and family who are.
