During storms and fireworks (I live in county so we get lots of fireworks) I just give my German Shepherd (Who is scared of both) some hemp treats, a chew toy, and I crate her. I put a blanket over it and she goes to sleep.
My other dog is a lab/Pyrenees mix and she likes to go to my bedroom and lay in her dog bed. I keep the fan going for her and the curtains closed and she naps. She’s not as scared as the other dog but doesn’t like the noise.
Be a responsible dog parent. Train them and if they can’t get over the fear, find a way to make them comfortable.

I got to agree with that cunt. My poor coonhound gets so worked up over fireworks that she shivers under the bed. A couple a times a month is whatever, but it’s almost every night.
They’re illegal to shoot off where I live, but I’m willing to provide some leeway for July 4th as long as it’s safe. Nope, they’re firing them off months prior and after the holiday. Police just pay lip service to enforcement of those laws. As insufferable as Silverman is, it is still a legit concern. But, as others had pointed out, this is a result of their agenda. It’s hard to give somebody any sympathy when they’re responsible for changing the culture to allow such behaviors.
Looting and burning businesses that minorities either own or work for is just fine, but disturbing her dog, that’s too much, man!
