I mean going 1776 and shooting people is stupid, but it is also a correct answer to the question of how do we fix the current problem (although it will most likely lead to much worse problems). A better solution would be, for someone with the authority in government to do so, to reestablish the rule of law in this country. But it seems like we can only expect to receive lip service on it.
