Thats true for the big teams but the teams usually running in the 30th place and worse positions definitely have crews that are stereotypical southerners and they aren't paid very well.

I have been to many NASCAR races there is absolutely NO WAY someone just walked into the garage area without being seen and/or caught on camera.
