I'll pass on any platform that requires phone #. I am doing without them just fine

Just read their terms, they promise to use every bit of data you give them, like everyone else does.

I might sign up even so, except they insist on a phone number. Why would they insist on a phone number? Their terms might explain... they promise to discover your phone make and service provider, your location, your contacts...

No thanks, I really wasn't looking for a social media game anyhow.

Well, I signed up already and now you having me thinking that I'm a moron for doing so.

I'll just rationalize it by knowing my phone number has already been out there and government/others are tracking us all anyways. Shit sucks.

No not a moron, I'm just like that. I don't have a cell phone in my name because of stuff like that, my Lovely Wife thinks I'm crazy but me and the dog describe it as Realistic. Or paranoid, except it ain't paranoia when they are after you is it, so Realistic.

But we are all tracked, you're right, if you have Onstar in your truck they have you, if you have a cell phone they have you... a fitbit... yadayadayada and too late to hide.

Well Brad Parscale hinted at some 'new technology' that the Trump campaign has invested in that would allow them to communicate w/ hundreds of millions of supports and which could not be stopped by outside forces.

No idea yet what that is. I'm hoping to hear more.

Their own zoom platform would be great.

There's nothing wrong with requiring a phone number so they don't have millions of anonymous trolls. Just thousands.

What I didn't care for is that anything you post is their property. I guess I wasn't about to leave any intellectual property on their website.

As long as you understand, they will not censor, they are a good alternative.

They're going to put a tipping feature for content creators to get paid in a few days. According to the interview I watched with the owner. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LfrQZ3RmSKI

A lot of new accounts pushing for people to join Parler. Not glowing at all. "Give us your info and phone number you can trust us with it, no seriously." GTFO

Whatever, I just signed up for it yesterday after doing a little research on it and seeing that Team Trump and other Repubs are going there. Loomer's there, Alex Jones...

GAB plain and simple.

The CEO of GAB is a complete idiot and does not actually support free speech. I'm on both platforms.

Hmmm... seems like Gab is doing all right, not to mention the platform innovation it has brought to bear and much less "fluid" with its free speech doctrine then Parler... But you do you.

Parler app is very clean. Highly recommend.
