Dow is 30 very large companies, S&P is 500 mostly large companies, NASDAQ is 3300 companies of all sizes

NASDAQ (a stock exchange) is different from S&P and DJIA (stock indexes). To answer, S&P is more relevant because it uses 500 publicly-traded companies rather than the 30 DJIA uses.
