I just want someone to explain to me why this type of b.s. remotely sounds like a good business decision to all these corporate CEO’s? Everybody always says “follow the money” but to me all this BLM virtue signaling does NOT seem to have anything to do with making money. On one level, I see why they’re virtue signaling: to be pussies but avoid being cancelled, but strictly from a financial standpoint, it seems like keeping your mouth shut is a better way to weather this storm, yet all these high paid experts can’t seem to figure that out, I wanna hear someone else explain why it is the way it is. Got a few ideas but I’d love other’s thoughts. Is it solely “white guilt” surpasses the need to feed the bottom line?
Edit: could it possibly be that all these CEO’s just think that if they go down this road and get Trump out of office that the bad guys will settle down temporarily and allow them to rake in the $? To me, big biz these days only think in the short term, so if they can get Trump out by putting much weight behind it, they can have a few peaceful years (while the US is destroyed slowly from within) and make their investors happy for a little while, then they’ll be set for life. They aren’t concerned with running a timeless successful business like their forefathers. They make a quick ginormous salary for a decade or two and face no scrutiny. We all know the mere act of sending $500 personally for a CEO is a death sentence for the whole company with the enraged mob, so it’s just an easy way to avoid controversy and negative PR. If that’s true, this changes nothing, b/c in my opinion if you support Biden, you support destroying this country. It sucks and I hate it, but if blue cities have to burn in order to not just save but revive the wonder of this country, we can deal with that. Are these CEO’s just choosing the easy out?
