The Italian Democrats are the equivalent of the UK Tories, and they are in the polls below Lega (approx equivalent of UKIP).
In Italy it's like having the Tories as the left wing, and UKIP as the moderate right wing (Lega, currently at 23%). We also have a truly based party, Fratelli d'Italia, which is basically equivalent to For Britain. Fratelli d'Italia is now at 14%. The name itself triggers leftists.
So no, Italy and other European countries are order of magnitude more to the right than the UK. You cannot seriously compare the globalist pro-immigration pro-lgbt Tories to parties like the AfD in Germany or RN in France or Vox in Spain.
The UK right wing is the EU left wing.
Lastly: in the last UK elections more people voted for the Communists than for the left wing Tories. Think about that.
I had been going there frequently from around 1984 - 2010 and from what I saw was a gradual slide towards being over run by muslims. The pace quickened around 2005 or so and it rapidly went down from there. The last time I was there was around 2012 and it was a 3rd world shithole. I think they are too far gone to save themselves. They need to get the muzzie cock out of their mouths. Get rid of Salama lama ding dong the mayor and beg the USA to come clean house for them.
They are at a boiling point for sure, but I don't know how the situation can be turned around when the place is already full of legally retarded, rabidly violent moslems with their own no-go territories. Fucking hell, it's hard to have any optimism for them. I can only hope that the nonstop violence and disrespect of moslem invaders will redpill the cucks into resistance.

The things I hear about them makes it sound hopeless, especially because they don't enshrine their right to free speech and self defense like we do.

Whenever our leftists try to pull some shit on us about how we're just paranoid and they aren't really trying to slippery slope us, just point to Europe. We can see the left's long game happening right across the pond. They're counting on us not noticing what they're playing toward, but you can see it if you just look at the other countries that lean farther left than us.
At this point I think it may be better to look at it with another perspective. This isn't about individual countries. This is an ideological war with western civilization and advancement of the human being into peace and prosperity. We have technology. We can communicate like never before and in that communication all around the world I've learned something wise but rarely spoken of; The normal everyday people don't want war, it's always the governments. People want flying cars, space travel, cool science shit to blow things up with and cures for grandma and grandpa. Those in "control" wish for continued obedient enslavement. The only ones i know of with those kinds of control issues are the political ideology of islam and international marxists/communists/ leninists/school of frankfurt et al. Cloaked under the guise of progressivism and climate change to show how much they care.
